Lefke Cyprus 30.03.2009

To the Chairman of WREC – World Renewable Energy Congress

Dear Prof. Ali Sayigh

Today is my project 11 in this year March 2009 in combination with presentation by European University of Lefke Cyprus , successfully finished.

I was 5 days in Istanbul before I fly to Ankara. In Istanbul I had contact with some Schools as usually I do every where I travel.

I could as well motivate the Hotels Manager for using the free electricity from the Sun, as I did last year in Gran Canaria.

For 26.03.09 in Ankara it was arranged a meeting with Embassy of Iran. I got Information, they pay around €22.000 per year for all Energy needed. The economy section of Embassy understood very easy, that they would pay for the next 10 years €220.000 + Energy raising in the next 10 years. It means over €440.000 Embassy has to pay for Energy.

Embassy is very motivated to use the free Sun Energy. They like to ask Teheran for this useful

Recommendation. I am waiting for contact per Email from Embassy in Ankara.

It was as well an arrangement from Hamburg for 27.03.09 with a helps organisation in Ankara named Cansuyu Mr. Musa Öztürk Director of department – foreign affairs of Cansuyu got to know from Hamburg  about my humanitarian and educational activity worldwide .

This Organisation is not only active in Turkey but as well in many countries around the world.

We had a meeting from 11.30am to 3.45pm.

I expressed my wish to provide Education centre in eastern Turkey. There are more than 40.000 villages in those part of Turkey, which there are no connection to electric energy. Therefore to use the Sun energy in those part of Turkey is very important for Renewable Energy and economy in Turkey.

I hope so much, we could motivate the ISESCO – UNESCO or UNEP for helping with the Workshop for training this country. WREC could be as well very proud to realize Education Centre here in Turkey for Renewable Energy.

I recommended to train in the Schools in Ankara, Passive solar – active Solar – wind turbine – getting 220 volts electricity from the Sun and Sun Cookers.

Alone the Sun Cooker can be used in many 1000 homes around Black Sea. They have as well no access to electricity or Gas pipeline.Turkey  has to provide expensive petroleum or Gas in those poor parts of country.

We agreed to have the next meeting and educational activity in Ankara soon. This Organisation of Cansuyu expressed themselves, they are really interested to cooperate with Saving Our Planet for providing workshop for Renewable Energy. During they picked me up to their Office, I got to know that Mr. Musa Öztürk  has been studied my web site.

My logo and motto were very appreciated by Mr. Musa Öztürk :

Saving our Planet – Universal peace possible solely through creating of jobs opportunity in environmental Industries.

Finally I got a free ticket from Ankara to Cyprus. Mr. Musa Öztürk  took me to the Airport Ankara and helped me to have easier to go through security.

Around 8.00 pm I am picked up at the  Airport Cyprus from Prof. Ibrahim Soujeri, who giving lectures at the European University of Lefke in Cyprus, Department of Electronic Engineering . I was guest of this kind professor and his family during my staying in Cyprus.

Next day 28.03.09 we used the time to buy galvanized metal sheet. We took it in his residence. I had a metal cuter by me and used it for cutting 24 segments for making a Sun Cooker. Even we had not all facilities but we finished the dish. Please see the pictures.

Sunday 29.03.09 we continued to find the focusing point of the  Dish. Some friends of  Prof. Ibrahim Soujeri came as well to help and participate building this Sun cooker.

Monday den 30.03.09 Prof. Ibrahim Soujeri took me to his University Lefke ca. 50 Kilometre from his residence.

By arrival to the University Of European University of Lefke, I have been introduced by Prof. Dr. K. Balasubramanian Dean Faculty of Architecture of Engineering.

He understood very easy the important job I do for Renewable Energy. He decided to collect Students for a presentation around 3pm in the same day, because it was the last opportunity for me. I had to fly back to Denmark on the next day 31.03.09.

Without any complication I gave a very useful presentation for around 60 Students. I get nearby every day Emails from some of those Students for come back and train them practically Renewable Energy.

At the end of this writing I attach some of Emails, which let us know how interested are the Students of European University of Lefke  for my come back.

On 31.03.09 Prof. Ibrahim Soujeri took to the Airport and I got my Flight on time via Istanbul –Hamburg and to Denmark with the train.

Conclusion

Here, by the European University of Lefke we have the best opportunity for involving 4.000 Students with the Solar Energy. We could provide workshop for every citizen of Cyprus to come with their materials and build Sun Cookers or learn how easy to get from the light 220 volts Electricity.

The second advantage is, to give the Renewable products of Students to the humanitarian Organisation of Cansuyu in Ankara for using them for poor people in north and east of Turkey.

It means 1000 and 1000 poor families would be free for paying for gas or petroleum.

In Istanbul during I have been waiting for my next connecting flight to Hamburg, I had a nice conversation with one of the Airlines from Turkey. They told me I have to contact the head Office for free transportation of Solar Products to anywhere they fly in Turkey, if it is for humanitarian and helping people.

I hope I would be ready with 5 of my training projects in European University of Lefke, before we meet in Brighton in this year.

Regards and blessing
