Dear Prof. Ali Sayigh

Today is my project 07 in this year 2009 part finished in Denver Dora Morre School.

The reason we could not get the training finshed, because there were no tools in the School.

School had not as well money to pay for materials to train the Children. I decided to pay from the money which people collected for training in Iraks Schools. But I could not use in Irak that money. Therefore I used that money for Schools in Denver.

I mean there are no different between Iraqis Children and USA Children. Both countries Children have the same right to get training in Sun Energy.

As I expalined this in San Antonio by a good friend, he said, it is a shame, a poor country like Iraq. has to pay for a most rich country in the world, like USA.

But I explained to him if I did not used Iraqis Money for School in Denver, I could not be able to train children in Denver.

It means I paid over $ 1.500 for flight to Houston and back to Copenhagen and a friend of mine from Denver paid my flight from Houston to Denver – Houston.

Another good friend in Denver let me to stay in her house for free one week. So many people have been supporting my Schools training program.

Therefore I paid $80 from the money of Iraqis School for buying materials for Denver School.

As we were finished with the Dinner and we said farvel to eachother, he shaked my hand and put something in my hand and said, Mr. Sani you do a great job for Children around the world. Please use this for Children in Irak. I said thank you.

As I was in the car for driving home, I opened my hand and it was a $100 for Children in Irak. This man was a great Amarican man, with understaning and good hearth.

There are 450 Schools Children in Dora Moore School in Denver. I gave presentation and trained a part of those 450 Children free of charge. If I get possibility to come back to Denver to continue my Trainings program, I will ask the Teacher, if every school Children would pay $1 for helping in Schools in Iraq? I get no charge for my training, but it could be fair , if now the Children pay $1 each. It is to mentioned that a Coca Cola cost $1 in the School.

I think it was a great training in Denver, even it went not finished. But I got a nice Email from Mr. Brian Woodworth, the Teacher of School in Denver. I attach his Email here for your Information.

We are an environmental service learning organization that works with several schools throughout Denver. I understand you have resources around solar energy to share with schools and I thought we might be able to help you find some eager audiences. Please let me know how your process works. Houston den 03.02.2009 Dear Sundus Ahmed Thank you for your kind Email. I would come back around Mai 2009 to Houston, if I get a free Air Ticket. If I do not get free Air Ticket, I wish that every Student of your School pays $4 each. By 250 Student it comes to $1.000 and it is good enough for my Ticket. So we do as well in European Countries. I get free staying here in Houston too. For Senegal I got a free Ticket, because, Senegal is a very poor Country, but USA is the most rich Country in the World. I make no different between Rich and Poor Countries, because the Children have the same Rights to get the same Education, which you got today. Do not forget, one Coca Cola costs here $1. It means every Child pays for 4 Coca Cola for every year. But the best way is that Imam collect mony by Friday praying by the Parents. If your School collect more mony as needed, we use it in Earthquake Area in Kashmir Pakistan, which there are big needs. We got a Temperature of around 1.500 Fahrenheit

today, this is great, what the Children did in one day. I hope the pictures of today could come to my web site from tomorrow. Best wishes Mohammad Sani

23.12.08 – Day 1:

I arrived at the ISESCO office in Rabat around 10AM. Dr. Dayer arranged a meeting with the Chairman of ISESCO and the Ministry of Education in Rabat.

The driver, arranged by ISESCO, took me to my Hotel.

24.12.08 – Day 2:

I arrived at the Ministry of Education for a two-hour meeting that went very well. After which, I left for another school in Rabat later that same day. The three-hour presentation greatly impressed the Headmaster and four of their teachers. The Headmaster was very anxious to start the training program early the next morning (by 8:30AM!)

25.12.08 – Day 3:

Upon my arrival at the school early that morning, I found an audience of over one hundred students eagerly awaiting the presentation. Even the teachers were interested in learning! Several of the children and two of the English teachers understood the presentation that was in English.

All those present heard the details of my training activities done in other schools.

The next day was the big demonstration. 220 Volts for watching TV, listening to the radio and using a ventilator, and also some 15 – watt lights all running at the same time, all free of charge, courtesy of the Sun’s Energy!

26.12.08 – Day 4:
When the Headmaster didn’t come to my hotel as scheduled, I ended up taking a Taxi to ISESCO, where I heard the unfortunate news from Dr. Dayer that the Headmaster had been in a car accident, which is why he didn’t make it to the hotel. The training will be postponed until next week.

When one of the ISESCO employees took me back to my hotel, I was told many of their employees recently learned of my frequent humanitarian trips around the world to share my knowledge of Renewable Energy.

Today is my last day in Dakar. Around 6 pm I have to go to Airport.

I had today in 3 Schools presentation and Demonstration of Passive Solar and Sun Cooker. I transported the Passive Solar and Sun Cooker with local transportation horse power. Please look the photos.

I have cooperated with 5 local workshop here in Dakar. I found all local materials for passive solar and Sun Cooker.

Materials for Passive Solar and Sun Cooker + payment to the local workshop + training in the workshops + transport of passive Solar and Sun Cooker for demonstration from workshops to the different Schools has cost until now all together around 70 Euros.

It means for production of 10 passive solar + 10 sun cooker we need less than 700 Euros.

I got from Las Palmas University to know that UNESCO has no money to help in Senegal. I got to know as well UNESCO in Dakar, has no money for helping Schools.

Therefore it is very important, we have a discussion in Brighton in December about helping Senegal.

There are 10 Schools near my Hotel. I transport the Passive Solar and Sun Cooker from one school to the next School for demonstration. I use the horse power for transportation. Please see the pictures and watch the happy faces of Schools Children.

I take the Materials to the different School too and let the Children do a part of passive Solar. There are in every School an English Teacher. There is no problem with communication.

I think it would be as well a perfect success for our WREC member, if UNESCO or ISESCO would support this poor country.

I gave training in the School number 2 in Dakar. I took the Passive Solar and Sun Cooker to this School.

I gave a presentation for Renewalbe Energy in the Class room. Finally we came outside and children fixed the miror to the Sun Cooker. The pictures explain more than words about my training.

I have written for every day a short report in Dakar. But I send that with pictures from Denmark to you and a general Report to Chairman of WREC.

Dear Prof. Ali Sayigh,

Today is Sunday and most shops are closed. I went to Mr. Abdul, the man who helped me to cut the Segments of Sun Cooker.

He took me to his home and we got to eat national Senegal lunch. We talked many hours for helping the poor part of Senegal.

I let him to know how Important it is to educate people to get jobs and to get free electricity and doing lunch with Sun Cooker without paying for Gaz or paying for wood for making lunch.

I told him I have tomorrow a presentation in School, if he likes to help me to find materials for building Passive Solar?

Even it was Sunday and it was not easy to find materials, but he knew people, who would help to get wood.

He realy understood me so good. We went to the diffrent places and got the suitable wood for passive Solar. Glas I got yesterday. The only thing I needed, was Insolation.

Late afternoon was the Passive solar finished for Demonstration in the School on Monday next day.
